Sporting Kansas City coach Peter Vermes has commended fast- improving Ghanaian forward Latif Blessing.
Blessing 20, has been outstanding for Sporting Kansas City since joining them at the start of Major League Soccer from Ghana Premier League outfit Liberty Professionals.
His impressive display and his quick adoption to the MSL has seen him score five goals, helping his side to sit third on the log in the Eastern Conference table.
Three of his goals have come in the topflight, with two others registered in the US Open Cup, where KC are through to the finals
“He’s like the little energizer bunny,” Vermes said, as reported by his club’s official website.
“He’s actually getting better and better in our system all the time and that’s probably the most important thing.
He’s got a great mentality.”
Blessing had a loan stint with lower division outfit Swope Park Rangers before rejoining the Wizards.
