Steven Gerrard reveals he “would have liked” to have played with Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.

The Liverpool legend has played alongside some of the best players in the world – but one Gunner is missing from his catalogue.

Speaking to BT Sport in the video above, Steven Gerrard reveals the one Arsenal player he would have liked to have been teammates with.

But the Reds legend revealed one player in particular is missing from his catalogue: Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

Since moving for £42.5million, the German has more than paid back his fee in assists – something that hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Speaking on BT Sport prior to Arsenal’s final Champions League group game against Basel, Gerrard said: “He’s the type of player you would have liked to have played with during your career.

“A lot of assists from him, a lot of magic.”
