Retired Referee G.K Manu has rubbished claims that referee Gagba who officiated Ghana Premier League biggest clash between Asante Kotoko and arch rival Accra Hearts of Oak performance was highly abysmal.
According to him, Dally Gagba’s performance on the day wasn’t bad at all adding he had a very good day despite being criticized for award a controversial penalty to Asante Kotoko which was neatly converted by striker Saddick Adams.
A lot of comments has been raised about the performance of Referee Dally Gagba before and the after game claiming that his judgment in the game was poor.
The game ended one apiece after Saddick Adams scored from the spot to cancel Kwame Kixito’s sublime finish.
”The referee’s performance yesterday was not bad at all. I will give him 7½ over 10.’’ Referee GK Manu told Abusua FM in Kumasi.
He added ”He did well, I totally disagree with anybody who says Emmanuel Dally Gagba performance was not bad.”
”Ghanaian are too judgmental. You need to watch the video very well before criticizing.”
