Timothy Weah, son of legendary George Weah signs first professional contract with PSG


Timothy Weah, son of Liberian legend and Ballon D’or winner George Weah, signs first professional contract with Paris Saint Germain.

The 17-year-old joined the French club’s U-14 academy until signing his first official contract that will tie him to the club until 2020. He played his first ever game with Le Parisiens and scored a hattrick in their thrashing 8-1 victory over Ludogorets Razgard in the UEFA Youth Champions League.

“I’m very proud to continue my adventure with Paris Saint-Germain by signing this professional contract. I’m with a great club and I can’t wait continue making progress towards my goal of one day playing for the senior team.” Weah to PSG’s official website.

Born in New York, Weah agreed to represent the United States national team and played in the U-17 CONCACAF tournament in Panama.
