Two apiece it ended at the Accra sports stadium when Asante Kotoko traveled to Accra to play arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in first leg encounter of the UN peace match Wednesday afternoon.
There was no winner at the end of the final whistle after both sides scored two each.
The two legged affair match is played to seek for peace in the December polls.
Vincent Atinga and Mustapa Essumang scored for Hearts with Emmanuel Gyamfi and captain Amos Frimpong levelling things for for the Porcupine warriors.
Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Gyamfi and Hearts Defender Inusah Musah who were adjudged winner of the Fair Play Award and man of the match award respectively were given a cash prize of $1,000 each.
The return leg kicks off at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
