Veteran Goalie George Owu rules out retirement, says ”I want to play for the next four years”

Former Black Stars Goal Keeper has said he still has four more years of good football to offer Ghanaians stressing he hasn’t thought of hanging his boots any time soon.

The veteran Goalie who is now 35 has vowed to keep for the post for another 4 years before bringing his career to an end.

“I want to play for the next four years, I am still active and I can still be in the post, you all saw my performance last season.”

Owu’s loan spell at Ashanti Gold SC ended after the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier league and says he’s open to any club that is willing to sign him ahead of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier league season.

“I was loaned to Ashgold by Hasaccas and as I’m talking to you now, my loan is over but my doors are opened to them and any other team that is interested in me”. He told Takoradi based Radio Silver.
