Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Toku says the Black Starlets will do their possible best to win the U-17 Africa Cup of nations.
Toku who scored Ghana’s winner in their 6-5 penalty shootouts victory over Niger was adjudged man of the match in the crunch match and dedicated his goal to the good people of Ghana for the unflinching support offered them.
I’m very happy that I eventually scored the winning penalty; I dedicate this goal for the people of Ghana at home as well as those at the stadium today to support us. We would give our best in the final to win the trophy.”
Ghana will face Mali on Sunday at Stade De L’Amitié Sino – Libreville in the grand finale as they hope to win its third title in Africa.
On Sunday at Stade de l’Amitie in Libreville, Ghana will play for the trophy against Mali who beat Guinea 2-0 on penalties to book qualification to the grand finale.
Meanwhile, the Black Starlets group A counterparts Guinea will meet Niger at the same venue for the third place match before the final game between Ghana and Mali starts at 6:30.
