Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United Kingsley Osei Bonsu is confident the reigning FA Cup holders will start their CAF Confederations Cup campaign on a good note when they battle Algerian side MC Alger at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday.
The Hunters have augmented their squad with the likes Amed Toure all expected to aid the team to greater heights in their maiden appearance in the Africa inter club competition.
MC Alger arrived in Accra on Thursday for the game. The Algerians travelled to Ghana with a 24-man squad from which head coach Kamel Mouassa will select 18 players for the game.But Kingsley Osei Bonsu is optimistic about their chances going into the game.
“Well we know on paper they are strong because of the experience they have in Africa but we trust our boys to deliver on the day”.
“We have augmented the squad and they are ready to deliver for the nation and themselves so we are confident of recording a favorable result on Sunday”he told Sportsworldghana.com.
