Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan says the playing body of the club is really worried about their inability to win matches recently.
Kotoko woes were deepened at home on Sunday after being held to a goalless draw with Ebusua Dwarfs in matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League and according to the young but hardworking goalie, the clubs current tailspin is of a huge worry to the players.
The Fabulous giants have failed to record a win in their last three matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier league leading to the sacking of head coach Dzravoko Logarusic on Sunday, a coach they hired four months ago.
Annan explains though the team is disappointed and frustrated, the players will do their utmost best to turn things around and restore the club to its glory days.
Speaking at a post match conference on Sunday he said” Actually It’s kind of frustrating but’s a time work and I have to do my part but for us it is frustrating that we are not scoring but we will keep working hard to ensure we win our future games.
He added” I must say we are very very frustrated us players and not happy at all because when you are playing for Kotoko you can’t go for games without win”.
”it is unfortunate that the results are not coming so we will plead to the supporters not to give up because that is why we are here so we will do our best and play our hearts out for them so they should keep supporting us as we look forward to winning our remaining matches.”
Kotoko, are currently second on the league log with 19 points, three adrift leaders WAFA who have amassed 23 points in eleven matches.
