Vice president of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] George Afriyie has expounded reason for the association reluctance to make public the details of the mammoth sponsorship package with StarTimes.
According to the ranking member of the FA, their contract with the Television company doesn’t allow any party to make details of the contract to any third-party.
George Afriyie reacting to a question as to why the details of the deal with StarTimes has been veiled was quick to respond that there is a confidentiality clause in the contract between the two parties.
The FA member explained that it’s this clause in the contract which is making them unwilling to come public or discuss the contract with a third-party.
“There’s a confidentiality clause in the contract with StarTimes, This is the reason why the contract is not being discussed” George Told Kumasi based Kessben FM.
