Black Stars striker David Accam is very optimistic the Black stars will pick victory against the Pharaohs in Egypt in Cairo in their crucial Russia 2018 world cup qualifier first leg.
Ghana opened its qualifiers campaign with a goalless draw game against the Cranes of Uganda last month in Tamale but faces a huge task of bringing back their hopes of qualifying for Russia 2018 with nothing but a positive result in Alexandria.
The Chicago Fire forward speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Angel Fm said, the team has the quality to do the damage in Egypt.
“Of course is a very tough game but we’re having a lot of good players in our team and everyone wants to play in the world cup. All the players are serious to give their everything for us to win the game.
“Anything can happen in that game because our players are ready and we know we can go there and win.

“Accam who was adjudged Chicago Fire’s most vulnerable player for the season shared his frustrations of being on the bench sometimes but respects the Coaches decision.
“Sometimes you have to respect the coaches’ decision, they decide what players they need for the game so sometimes I am frustrated but it happens and it’s part of the game but you need to be ready whenever you get called upon.”
Egypt leads the table with 3points after winning their first game away in Congo.
