Sporting Director of 1860 Munich Günther Gorenzel is optimistic the signing of Prince Owusu can solve their attacking profligacy as they aim to escape the drop.
Owusu joined the Lions from Arminia Bielefield until the end the of the season after failing to churn out regular playing time at the club.
Despite his failure to break into the Bielefield team, 18670 Munich chief Gorenzel believes his outfit has signed the right player to help in their fight to survive relegation.
“All parties benefit from this transfer,” says Günther Gorenzel, sporting director of Münchener. “With more uptime, Prince Osei Owusu can evolve with us and we have an additional option for our offensive play.”
Owusu played 11 games this season but he is yet to score in the Bundesliga II.
He netted two goals to his credit in the DFB Pokal.
