Hearts of Oak clinched the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title to become Ghana champions for the first time in about ten years and many are those who are imaging the type of reward the current players will receive for this historic feat.
But according to board member of the club Frank Nelson Nwokolo the board chairman Togbe Afede XIV is the right person to determine the type of reward that corresponds to this special success – the first of kind under his era as majority shareholder of Hearts of Oak.
“The board chairman is someone who believes in his boys. I cannot imagine and I will not tell what he will do for them. I cannot speak for him but I know that he is somebody who appreciates success.” Frank Nelson said to Fox FM.
“When you succeed the board chairman tries to appreciate your effort and so that should not be a problem. The players know that when they do well there is a reward for them” he added.
