Joshua Akoto scored a late goal for Bibiani Gold Stars as they held Medea SC to a 1-1 stalemate at the Akoom Park on Tuesday in their Ghana Premier League matchday 2 outstanding game.
Substitute striker Ahmed Toure had given the home team 1-0 lead in the 81st with a fine strike but Joshua Akoto cancelled his strike in the 90+2 minute to draw the crucial game.
The draw means that the Premier League new boys have picked four points from their first two games having beaten Berekum Chelsea 1-1 in Bibiani in their season opener.
Medeama SC on the other hand, are winless after playing two games, picking just a point out of a possible six points under new manager Ignatius Osei Fosu.
