Ghana international midfielder Baba Iddrisu will join the camp of the Black team Stars in Doha, Qatar, on January 3, 2022, after Mallorca’s league game against FC Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga.
The talented midfielder was initially expected to travel to Qatar this week to join his teammates for the pre-AFCON training camp.
But following a FIFA directive for national teams to allow players to play for the clubs until January 3, Baba Iddrisu’s arrival date has been delayed.
He is now set to play for RCD Mallorca in the game against FC Barcelona on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
The Everton transfer target will then travel to Doha, Qatar, on Monday, January 3, 2022, to join his Black Stars teammates for the pre-AFCON training camp.
The Black Stars have, however, started training in Qatar. The first session was held yesterday and another one is being held today.
Below is the list of players currently in the Black Stars camp in Doha:
Richard Atta, Lawrence Ati Zigi, Alexander Djiku, Mubarak Wakaso, David Abagna, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Maxwell Abbey Quaye.
