Bengaluru FC central defender Yrondu Musavu-King has withdrew from the Gabonese squad for the impending AFCON after sustaining an injury.
The towering guardsman was named in Patrice Neveu’s 27-man squad for the tournament but he is injured at club level and is expected to recover in a month time so he has opted out.
Musavu-King who was born in Gabon but grew up in France was the first choice centre-back of Patrice Neveu and he has to now call an immediate replacement.
