Ghana captain Andre Ayew, Crystal Palace attacker Jordan Ayew and Ajax sensation Mohammed Kudus finished the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification as the players who scored the most goals for the Black Stars.
Ghana scored 9 goals in 6 qualifying games and three players scored twice each.
The Swansea City attacker was the one that scored the most brilliant goals for the Ghanaian team as he scored his two goals in one game when Ghana beat Sudan 2-0 in Cape Coast. His first effort was a clever freekick in the first half and his second strike from outside the box was even better.
The two realizations of Kudus also came against the same opponent but in different games. One goal was scored against South Africa in Cape Coast in a 2-0 Ghana win and the other goal in Johannesburg during the South Africa 1 Ghana 1 game.
Jordan Ayew – 18 goals for Ghana now – interestingly also scored his two goals against the same opponents – Sao Tome and Principe with both goals coming from the spot in both games.
