Crystal Palace ace Jeffery Schlupp has joined the Black Stars camp preparing for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualification return leg against the Facons of Jediane.
The versatile defender who missed the first leg, arrived in the country Thursday night to join his teammates in camp in Accra.
Coach Charles Akonnor and his boys returned to training in Accra on Friday ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifying reverse fixture against Sudan on Tuesday 17th November 2020 in Omdurman.
The Black Stars defeated the Northeast Africa side 2-0 on Thursday in the first leg of the qualifiers.
Swansea City star Andre Ayew scored all the two goals to hand Akonnor a comfortable win in his first competitive game in charge of the Black Stars.
The team left Cape Coast Thursday night to continue preparations in Accra ahead of the game in Sudan.
Schlupp’s arrival will undoubtedly excite head coach Akonnor as Chelsea’s Baba Rahman remains the only left-back in the Black Stars camp after Gideon Mensah who is currently recovering from Covid-19 was unable to honour the two games.
