Ghana’s Black Stars on Monday evening whitewashed Lowe-tier side Golden Kicks FC 5-1 in a friendly exercise ahead of the team’s trip to South Africa on Tuesday for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier clash with Ethiopia.
Isreal-based striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom scored a brace with Jordan Ayew, Caleb Ekuban and Fatawu Issahaku scoring one each to give the Black Stars an emphatic win against the Lower-tier side.
Captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Richmond Boakye Yiadom, Edmund Addo, Mubarak Wakaso, Jojo Wallocott among nine others featured in the preparatory game.
Ghana will travel to play Ethiopia on November 11, before hosting South Africa three days later.
Victories for the Black Stars in the final two encounters will see them progress to the play-off round.
