Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Portugal’s training session today due to a stomach bug, according to Sky Sports.
The Manchester United man has been tasked with leading the 2016 Euro winners to their first World cup trophy in Qatar. His team are expected to face Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
Ronaldo’s issue is not a serious one and is expected to make a quick recovery whilst making himself available for the World Cup.
He is currently Portgual’s all-time top scorer with 117 international goals.
