Nigerian striker Jude Odion Ighalo says the heat is on both Ghana and Nigeria to qualify for the world cup after their dismal AFCON performance.
Ighalo maintains that Ghana is a good team but Nigeria cannot falter as they must win and make it to the world cup in the wake of the incessant pressure.
“We know Ghana is a good team, we know the rivalry between the two countries, We have been working hard and looking forward to the game.” Ighalo stated.
“There is pressure on Ghanaians the same way there is pressure on us. We have to qualify for the word cup, we have to be there. With what happened at the AFCON there is a little bit pressure on the team but we know we are capable of doing it.”
Ighalo missed the 2021 AFCON and he could lead the Super Eagles attack this evening.
