The Black Stars have been received an amount of US$5000 each following their victory against Ethiopia last Friday in the World Cup qualification game.

Mubarak Wakaso’s long range strike in the 35th minute minute beat goalkeeper Teklemariyam Shanko to seal victory for the Black Stars.
On Monday, the Black Stars suffered an embarrassing 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the second qualifying match at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg.
Despite Monday’s loss to the Bafana Bafana, the Stars will receive US$5000 each for winning one of the two matches.
Ghana are now tied on points with Ethiopia, three points and are behind South Africa who currently lead the standings with four points.
The Black Stars will face Zimbabwe in a doubleheader in the next round of matches in October in Kumasi and in Harare respectively.
