Ghana’s 2022 World Cup qualifying opponent’s South Africa are looking for a technical director as they seek good brains to help the team qualify for the Mundial after their last appearance in Japan/South Korea in 2002.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that Neil Tovey who was occupying that position resigned in June last year and it is now the Rainbow nation are seeking for his replacement as the World Cup qualifiers draws closer.
Applications are officially opened and suitable candidate have up to April 9 to tend in their resume after which the shortlisted ones will be called for interview.
The person who will be picked for the job will receive an amount of R839 031 – R948 469 which is $58,000 to $948 469 per annum, and his job also includes establishing an efficient coaching structure in the member association as well as to develop and maintain contacts with the Confederation’s coach education department to coordinate, implement, monitor and provide feedback on all matters pertaining to coach education.
The new technical director and Bafana Bafana’s new coach are expected to be named on the same day.
