The foreign based players of the Zimbabwean national team will take flights from their various base to Accra ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers with Ghana on October 9.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the foreign components of the Warriors will be in Accra even before their colleagues flt from Harare to join them.
The arrangement was made by the Zimbabwean Football Federation as well as the country’s Ministry of Sports so that the foreign players will have more time to rest before the first leg and avoid passing through red-listed countries.
The Warriors have a host of foreign players including skipper Knowledhe Musona who plays for KAS Eupen in Belgium, Marvelous Nakamba of Aston Villa, Tino Kadewere of Olympique Lyon, as well as Jordan Zemura of Bournemouth.
