Aziz Tariq Joe opened the scoring for Maana FC in the 52nd minute, but Isaac Asumadu leveled the playing field for Tamale City in the 81st minute. The draw keeps Tamale City at the pinnacle of Zone One A, and Mubarik Abdul Kadir earned the Player of the Match accolade for his stellar performance.
In another Zone One A encounter, Douglas Boateng secured the lone goal in the 57th minute, leading Northern City to a 1-0 triumph over Techiman Heroes. Northern City currently occupies the 3rd spot in Zone One A with 17 points.
Techiman Liberty claimed a 2-1 victory over bottom-placed Berekum City in Zone 1B. Alhassan Osman and Shadrach Kofi Fosu scored for Techiman Liberty in the early minutes and the 75th minute, respectively.
Despite Seth Oppong pulling one back for Berekum City in the 90th minute, Techiman Liberty held on for the win, maintaining their position in Zone 1B.
