832 players from 32 teams are to compete in the maiden edition of the Club FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on Sunday, 15th June 2025, in the USA.
South African club, Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Mabena and Sibiya are among the top five shortest players to take part in the competition.
FIFA revealed:
“Al Hilal’s Kaio Cesar and new Fluminense recruit Yeferson Soteldo are, at 1.60 metres apiece, the shortest players. They are followed by Mamelodi Sundowns duo Siyabonga Mabena and Thato Sibiya (1.62m). Soteldo is a staggering 41 centimetres smaller than his Flu team-mate Gustavo Ramalho.
Siyabonga Nicolas Mabena, 18, is the third shortest player in the FIFA Club World Cup. The youngster stands just 1.62m. The highly rated attacker is considered a huge talent on the Masandawana side.

Thato Sibiya, 18, is 1.62m tall, just like his teammate Mabena. The young defender is the fourth shortest player among the 832 players.
Brazilian forward Kaio Cesar of Al Hilal is the shortest, standing 1.60m tall. Venezuelan international Yeferson Soteldo also stands at 1.60m tall.

Mamelodi Sunsowns in Group F will face Ulsan Hyundai , Fluminense and Dortmund.
