Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to make a single change to his starting lineup for Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The only anticipated adjustment is in goal, where Lawrence Ati-Zigi is set to reclaim his starting spot, replacing Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare, who featured in the previous match against Chad.
The defensive setup is likely to remain unchanged, with Fenerbahçe’s Alexander Djiku and AS Monaco’s Mohammed Salisu forming the central defensive partnership. Gideon Mensah and Kingsley Schindler are expected to start as the full-backs.
In midfield, Addo is likely to stick with the trio that started in the 5-0 victory over Chad. Arsenal’s Thomas Partey will play as the holding midfielder, while Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah will operate in more advanced roles as double 8s.
Upfront, the attacking trio of Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, and Antoine Semenyo is expected to lead Ghana’s charge in search of another crucial victory.
Kickoff is scheduled for 19:00 GMT at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium in Morocco.
