Hohoe United Football Club and Young Apostles Football Club have each been fined GHS 10,000 and handed a formal warning by the Disciplinary Committee following misconduct in their Ghana Premier League match.
The Committee ruled that both clubs breached league regulations after starting the match with incomplete teams without providing any valid justification. The action was deemed a serious violation of competition rules, prompting the sanctions.
Both clubs have been cautioned to strictly comply with matchday requirements going forward, as any repeat offence could attract harsher punishment.
The decision reinforces the reminder to all Ghana Premier League sides to uphold professionalism and discipline at all times.
