Three human heads have reportedly been found in the house of a Ghana third-tier footballer Richard Gyamfi affectionately known as “Fire man” in Abesim , a suburb of Sunyani in the Bono region.
Investigations by SPORTSWorldGhana.com show that Richard Gyamfi is a player of Division Two side Kumapem football club in Sunyani and scored a wonderful freekick during a league match against Oxford United last Sunday.
Gyamfi is said to be a talented footballer as he helped his team defeat Oxford by 4-2 just last week.
“He scored a brilliant freekick against us in our Division Two game played at the Baffour Soccer Academy. I am terrified to see his picture as the one arrested by possessing three human heads” an Oxford United player (name withheld) told SPORTSWorldGhana.com.
The Ghana Police Service have since arrested the lower tier footballer for alleged murder. A search in his room by the police revealed three human heads packed in his fridge.
Confirming the news to Sunyani based Sky FM, the father of one of the the deceased victims, Mr Thomas Agyei explained that the footballer reportedly lured his son, the 13 year old Louis Agyemang Junior from a football park at Sunyani Abesim into his room and killed him. The boy who is a twin had left to the park for football training.
In the evening, efforts to trace the young boy proved futile. One of his friends called Tweneboa informed the parents that they saw him in the company of the footballer “Fire Man”.
When they approached him, he denied seeing the boy entirely. That gave the parents some suspicion because Tweneboa still insisted that the two were seen walking together in the afternoon.
A visit to the House of the footballer saw one of his doors locked. After interrogation, he explained that the keys to the room has gotten missing.
The Angry parents gathered some ” Area boys” to break into the room only to find the lifeless body of Louis Agyemang Junio in cold blood with his head slashed away.
The area boys pounced on “Fire Man” and gave him some beatings before he was handed over to the Sunyani Abesim Police.
A search by the police discovered human body parts in a sack. In his fridge, he had three human heads including that of Louis Agyemang. The Abesim Police have also handed him over to the Bono Regional Police command for further investigations.
The three human heads and the body of Louis Agyemang Junior hasve been deposited at Best Care Mortuary at Mantukwa in the Sunyani West Municipality.
