Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies will face Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in the first-ever CAF Women’s Champions League final on Friday.
The match crucial match resurrects the Ghana-South Africa football rivalry after Black Stars defeated Bafana Bafana in World Cup qualifiers on Sunday courtesy of Captain Andre Ayew’s controversial penalty.
Sundowns defeated Malabo Kings on penalties after Hasaacas had also whipped ASFAR of Morocco 2-1 in the sem-final on Monday.
The club that wins the trophy will make history as the first club to win the first edition of the tournament being staged in Egypt.
