FC Metz are nearing the signing of Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris from fellow Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Waris has just five months left on his contract and Strasbourg are ready to cash in on him this window in order not to lose him for free in the summer.

Waris has played ten league games this season and has failed to register a goal or assist for Strasbourg.
