Ghana suffered heartbreak in their pursuit of a fifth Africa Cup of Nations title after losing to Comoros in their final group game.

The Black Stars were dealt with a last-gasp goal from Comoros which ended Ghana’s campaign as they finished bottom in Group C, with just one point.

Prior to the game, the Black Stars were hopeful of winning the game to seal a place in the next round of the competition but a loss sees them exit the competition in the group stage, the first time they are doing so since 2006.

Following their exit, some sports journalists have been reacting to the performance of the team…

“The Game Changer”

He has a lot to change, doesn’t he?

Yes, we know Milo was a big part of this failure and doesn’t give hope for a long term project. But, please we can’t call out Milo without directing our arrows to the appointing authority.

— Umar-Farouk Atipaga (@FAROUKATIPAGA) January 18, 2022

Please sack Milovan Rajevac before you get to Ghana @kurtokraku and @ghanafaofficial. The @GhanaBlackstars deserves better standards than the insipid decision making capacity our beloved Serbian showed in Cameroon. Let's not lower the standards bar please. Sack him.

More than half of the players in the Ghana team felt useless being in Cameroon. Some after the Gabon game just wanted to leave for their clubs.

They just had to go for training because it was training time

The coach didn’t create any competition in the team …

Ghana has been knocked out of a 24 team tournament which sees only 8 teams eliminated after the first round. What sense does it make that Ghana can't get pass this? What sense?

— SITSO (@OfficialSitso) January 18, 2022

Sack Milo, he performed extremely poorly. Finishing last without winning a single game is just unacceptable. Disgraceful.
