Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC have asked their head coach Samuel Boadu to beat Real Tamale United FC on Sunday or face the sack, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm exclusively.
The former Medeama SC gaffer has been asked by the Rainbow Club to defeat the newly promoted team at the Aliu Mahama stadium in Tamale in their week 17 clash.
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm that, the board of the club are not happy with current results and have been considering sacking the manager if the performance doesn’t improve.
Our trusted source at the club have revealed to us that the club hierarchy is planning to replace the manager and could sack him before the Super Clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC next weekend should he lose to Real Tamale United FC.
Boadu won the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League title in his first season at the club to end their 12 year wait to lift the covetous and giant trophy.
He also guided the Phobians to a famous double at the end of the season when he won the FA Cup against Obuasi Ashantigold SC.
This season, the coach was shamefully eliminated from both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively in his first season at the continental competition.
After 15 matches in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League with a game in hand against Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, have won just six games, drawn five with four defeats.
This has come as a shock to the club officials and have considered sacking him if he doesn’t turn things around with authority ready to let him go should he lose on Sunday according to our sources within the top hierarchy at the club.
