King Faisal attackers Mawuli Wayo and Osman Ibrahim put up big performances as King Faisal defeated WAFA 2-1 in Sogakope.
Wayo set up Ibrahim Osman for King Faisal’s first goal in the 49th minute as the duo proved too difficult to be handled by Konado Yiadom and his teammates at the back.
WAFA skipper Konadu Yiadom who was largely culpable for the opponent’s opening goal equalized in the 66th minute to atone for his sin but Wayo popped up again to restore the lead for his team in the 79th as Osman turned provider this time.
King Faisal increased their points to 29 at the third place whilst WAFA are in the relegation zone.
