Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC defender, Samuel Inkoom made his debut for Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC on Sunday afternoon.
The former Ghana International was a second half substitute as he came on to take the place of Gladson Awako who was having a bad day at the office.
Inkoom showed glimpses of what he could bring on boards for the Rainbow Boys in their 0-1 defeat at the hands of the Porcupine Warriors.
He won the league with the Reds during Coach Bashir Hayford’s time with Kotoko where he became a darling boy for the club between 2007-2009.
Kotoko beat the Phobians by kind courtesy a spot kick in the first half which was converted nicely by the league’s top scorer Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga.
Kotoko are 16 points above the defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC after gaining the bragging rights in Sunday’s Super Clash.
