2023 AFCON Qualifiers: Jojo, Ayew, Jordan & Afena-Gyan start as Otto Addo names strong Ghana lineup for Madagascar game

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced a strong starting lineup to face Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier opener tonight.

Jojo Wallocott starts in post ahead of Caf Confederation Cup finalist Richard Ofori and St. Gallen first choice goalie Lawrence Ati Zigi.

Denis Odoi starts from the right back with Gideon Mensah also starting at the left-back position.

Partnering Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey in central defence is Reading’s Baba Rahman.

Otto Addo has opted to use a duo of Baba Iddrisu and Mohammed Kudus in midfield with Fatawu Issahaku and Andre Ayew operating from the flanks.

Crystal Palace striker and AS Roma youngster Felix Afena Gyan will lead the Black Stars sttack.
