Spanish second tier club FC Cartagena have handed a fresh deal to Ghanaian enforcer Richard Boateng.
The initial contract of the talented holding midfielder was expected to end on June 30, 2022 but he will now stay with the club for one mire year.
Boateng started the just ended season poorly but stepped up his game in the second round as he put up a series of magnificent performances for the club.
In all, he made 26 La Liga 2 appearances for Carragena and netted twice.
