English League Obeng side Charlton Athletic FC are close to signing Ghana’s 1st choice goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
According to our sources, the Red and Blacks has agreed a deal to sign the Ghanaian for the 2021-22 League One side.
The 25-year-old shot stopper is set to join his former coach Ben Garner who initially promised his former employers not to take players from the team.
The Ghanaian made the 6th most saves, and had the 3rd highest save percentage in League Two last season with Swindon Town.
He won the Skybet English League Two goalkeeper of the season and also helped Ghana to qualify for Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
