Zambian defender defender Frankie Musonda has been unveiled as an Ayr United player on a two-year deal.
According the official announcement made by the Scottish Championship side, Musonda becomes United’s fourth signing.
“The 24-year-old defender started his career at Luton Town and had loan spells at Braintree Town, Oxford City, Hemel Hempstead Town and St Albans City before making the permanent switch to Raith Rovers in August 2020, where he left recently following the expiry of his contract,” stated the club on their official website.
Musonda was also called up to represent the Zambia National Team in March 2022. He made his debut in 3-1 win over Congo and scored Zambia’s third goal of the Match.
He also made his AFCON Qualifier debut in the 2-1 win over Comoros at Heroes stadium.
