Ghana’s Black Galaxies posted a 3:0 victory over Accra Five Stars FC on Saturday 9th July,2022 in a friendly game ahead of their CHAN Championship qualification game against Benin.
Accra Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Afriyie Barniel scored a brace with Kotoko left-back Imoro Ibrahim also netting one goal to give the team a good victory.
Having missed out of the last three editions of the CHAN Championship, head coach Annor Walker and his team are currently in Prampram stepping up preparations for the two-legged qualifier games against Benin.
The team will play more exercise games to put the players in better shape for the qualification matches.
The Black Stars B are in search of a ticket to the biennial competition scheduled for Algeria in January 2023.
Ghana have failed to qualify for the tournament in the last three editions and will hope to make another appearance this time around.
The Black Stars ‘B’ finished second in the 2009 and 2014 editions of the tournament.
