Black Stars defender, Gideon Mensah, has begun training with AJ Auxerre ahead of his debut for the club.
Mensah was confirmed as the club’s ninth signing earlier this month after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.
The 24-year-old joined the newly-promoted Ligue 1 side from Red Bull Salzburg where he failed to nail a starting spot in the team.
After enjoying a successful loan stint with Bordeaux despite the club’s relegation, Mensah signed for Auxerre.
The left-back is likely to make the cut when his new club play Montpellier over the weekend in the league.
As part of the preparations, he has begun training with his new teammates.
