Legon Cities Head Coach, Maxwell Konadu, has sent his congratulatory message to the Black Galaxies following their qualification for next year’s CHAN tournament in Algeria.
In the first leg, Ghana won 2-0 thanks to goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu but in the second leg, Nigeria also won 2-0 in Abuja.
The game went straight to penalties and Ghana clinched a 5-4 victory over Super Eagles B, sealing qualification to the African Nations Championship tournament for the first time since 2014.
And Konadu, a former head coach of the home-based Senior National team, has taken to social media to salute the team’s qualification.
