‘Seriously Injured’ KAA Gent midfielder Elisha Owusu has wonderfully made it into Otto Addo’s Ghana squad for Brazil, Nicaragua friendlies this month.
The Ghanaian international has not been in action for the Blue and Whites outfit after the first and second round of games in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
He was a second half substitute when Ghana beat their arch rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the ticket for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
Despite being injured, the 24-year-old holding midfield-gem has been included in Otto Addo’s 29-man squad for the games against Brazil and Nicaragua respectively.
The Ghanaian international is serving additional two to four weeks injury lay-off with a thigh problem.
