Former Ghana U-17 skipper, Eric Ayiah trained with Gil Vicente for the first time after sealing a deadline day switch from France.

He joined in his first training session with the club on Wednesday, September 7.

Ayiah signed for Portuguese during the summer transfer window joining from AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Primeira Liga outfit.

The Ghana international joined Monaco after an impressive tournament in the U-17 World Cup in India.

However, limited chances at the club forced him to reconsider his decision and move on, signing for Gil Vicente.

Ayiah failed to make a competitive senior appearance for Monaco during his stay with the club.
