Ghanaain defender Konadu Yiadom has stated that he chose the ‘best team in the league’ following his transfer to Hearts of Oak.
Yiadom was a key player at WAFA but the team was relegated at the end of the 2021/22 season following a poor run of form.
Hearts decided to pounce and in the end got their man on a three-year contract.
In an interview following the move, Yiadom revealed how highly he rates Hearts.
“I chose the best team in our league because I have to achieve my career ambitions. This is where the aim will be most fulfilled. It’s a dream come true, “Yiadom said.

Yiadom also plays for the Black Galaxies and helped the team secure qualification to the 2022 African Nations Championship.
