Brandon Thomas-Asante
The 23-year-old striker has been magnificent since joining West Bromwich Albion this summer and has been their best player so far in the Championship.
Asante has netted two goals in two league games already and he will definitely bang in more as he has fully adjusted to the “Baggies” system of play.
Born to Ghanaian parents at Milton Keynes, Asante is eligible to play for both England and Ghana though he is yet to be capped at any national team level.
If he continues his rich vein of form at club level, he can easily break into Ghana’s squad for the Mundial.
Tyrese Momodou Fornah
The talented holding midfielder is on loan at Reading from Nottingham Forest and has been a revelation in the midfield of the Royals.
Fornah has played every single minute for Reading in the Championship this season and he has already netted one goal for the club.
With injuries and patchy form of most of Ghana’s defensive midfielders abroad, the 22-year-old enforcer could make the Black Stars squad for Qatar.
Jordan Yamoah Amissah
Ghana is likely to take four goalkeepers to Qatar and three of the spots has been occupied already by Wollacott, Richard Ofori and Manaf Nurudeen. There is the hunt for a fourth goalkeeper to serve as back up and Amissah could make the cut.
Standing at 6 feet 6 inches tall, Amissah has an imposing figure, good reflexes and above all is a great shot stopper.
He has already made his championship debut for Sheffield United and the 21-year-old who is also eligible to play for Germany could make the Black Stars World Cup list.
