Ghanaian forward, Abdul-Aziz Yakubu, has been named Rio Ave’s Player of the Month for September.
In three games during the month in question, the 23-year-old scored twice and assisted once in three games for his side.
Aziz after failing to score against GD Chaves, was on target against Sporting Braga and Gil Vicente.
The Ghanaian has had an excellent start to the 2022/23 season scoring five goals in seven games for his side while also providing two assists.
