German-born Ghanaian Christopher Scott grabbed his first goal for Belgian side Royal Antwerp in the Reds victory against Saint Truiden in the Belgium First Division A league on Friday.
It took the former Bayern Munich player just four minutes after coming off the bench to snatch victory for the home team at the Bosuil Stadion.
Christopher Scott replaced injured Alhassan Yusuf in the 86 minute and hit the back of the net to give his side a 2-0 win.
Pieter Gerkens shot the hosts ahead after just eight minutes, meeting a long pass from former Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld before brilliantly slotting home.
Scott sealed a move to Royal Antwerp in the summer transfer window after leaving German giants Bayern Munich on a permanent deal.
The 20-year-old has made three appearances in the Belgium topflight and scored one goal.
The talented attacker has represented Germany at youth levels but remains eligible to play for Ghana’s senior national team- Black Stars due to his parents heritage.
