After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, the youngster scored on the 69th minute mark with a fine finish into the back of the net.
Charlton Athletic FC won the game 1-0.
The 20-year-old Ghana player had scored three goals and provided two assists in 12 games for the League One side.
