Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana, has selected his final 26-man team for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Two players from the Ghana Premier League are on the final roster, including Daniel Afriyie Barnieh of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim.
The two have been on the lips of Ghanaians for some time now after their involvement in the country’s youth ranks.
Both players were on Monday included in Addo’s final squad for the competition.
Danlad comes into the team following the injuries to Jojo Wollacott and Richard Ofori, who were tipped to make the squad prior to their setbacks.
